What if this question were to lead to the compromise we all seek? :)
I'm not spelling it out.... Think about it?

An arguement I use for the Jehovahs is this;
"If Jehovah is all powerful, can he make an object so heavy that he can't lift it?"

If he can make one but can't lift it, he's not 'all' powerful.

If he can't make one, he's not 'all' powerful.

Its the problem of size.

He's like all people when just starting a new job. First week he was eager and worked insanely hard doing everything at once. After that once he had settled into the role a little more he got a little lazier but still did the odd miracle and whatever.

Then of course he got promoted and had the brainwave that he could get his subordinates to do all the work for him. So he sent Jesus to act as his representative and did all his communication between us and him through his Angels.

However like all big organisations overtime the bloke at the top has lost touch with the common man, he lets the churches and crazy religious nuts do all the work why he and the now higher echelons including Jesus just go about their business blissfully unaware of the growing crisis below and before they know it they will be collapsing without a trace just like barings bank.

So the belief that he left it up to evolution is rubbish. he and his religion has been in control all the time, its just that their religion has got so big that they haven't made it clear who is ultimately responsible.

Even God gets bored.

Think about it. All He does all day is sit up on his cloud and listen to the saints whine about this and that. He needs to keep his all knowing mind working! This is beyond Brain Age for the DS, okay?

God can't do it all. He gave us the kick in the pants to get going. Now He just wants to sit back on His cloud with a bowl of popcorn and Diet Dr. Pepper (Mrs. God has him on a diet) and watch us dunder-heads duke it out.

Because he created evolution as a means to populate the planet.
Why have a dog and bark yourself?

I'm not a Jehovahs Witness, by the way, but that's the answer I would give.

For once and for all can anybody prove there is no God, or there is a God and he leaves us to make the best of our lives through free choice. The person who knows the answer will be crucified, lots of the gospels were hidden. We will never know the truth. I work with a J.W., and feel sorry for her kids at Christmas time now that they are at school and don't celebrate Santa altho their parents did when they were young. And I believe they do not allow blood transfusions and only a few thousand of them will enter the kingdom of heaven. Haven't answered your question because it can't be definitively answered or you would make a fortune!!!!!!

Not sure, but maybe he gave us brains to figure things out.

That is something that the Jehova's witnesses lack.

God's probably the same astrological sign as me, we start projects with this grand idea and a bit of money, then we get bored or run out of funds and abandon the project altogether.

Or maybe God expected his creation to be self sufficient.

first of all i am 'a Jehovahs Witness'.
Second, we dont believe in evolution, we believe in God only and that he created man straight from the dust and not from monkeys. he has not and will not leave his creations to evolution but will act on it...and soon..so happy living guys! =)

i think it is all about God's divine plan... he could have created us without the ability to evolve...I'm christian but I do believe in evolution...not monkey to human evolution, but more adaptation to the changing environment.
