I liked all the Warner Bros. cartoons. There was a children's tv show in southern Calif. in the 50s called Sheriff John. The main cartoon on that show was Crusader Rabbit and Rags the Tiger. That was my all time favorite.

Well, I obviously go back a little further here:

Little LuLu
Bugs Bunny
Daffy Duck
Porky Pig
Foghorn Leghorn

Bugs was my all time favorite......still is when they show the old ones on TV.

Back in the day, cartoons were written for ADULTS which made them funny, ironic, humorous, witty and children loved them, too.

Cartoons today are crap.

Tom and Jerry is an Academy Award-winning animated cartoon series of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer theatrical short subjects created, written and directed by animators, William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. One hundred and fourteen Tom and Jerry cartoons were produced by the MGM cartoon studio in Hollywood from 1940 until 1957, when the animation unit was closed down. These shorts are notable for having won seven Academy Awards for Best Short Subject (Cartoons), tying it with Walt Disney's Silly Symphonies as the most-awarded theatrical animated series. It is widely rated as one of the best animated cartoon series ever.
