What image comes to mind when you think of this name?

My friend is going to name her newborn, Kathleen Ann O'Brien.


I'm just curious:

What mental image comes to your mind when you hear this name?
Maybe character traits or a physical image?

Well, I picture a girl with long brown hair and brilliant brown eyes. Some nice nicknames for her (in my opinion) would be Kat, Katie, Kate or Kathy. I picture a smart young lady who always works hard to achieve her goals. Although some things do not always come easy for her: that doesn't stop her. She always shoots for the moon and she doesn't mind if she lands on the star by mistake. As long as she's tried her best :) I think some subjects in school that she may have the most difficulty with would be Math and Social Studies. I also think she will be an excellent horse-back rider if she ever takes up lessons ;)

Kathleen Ann is sort of a "classic" combination of names, especially the Ann, which was a very popular 1950's-60's middle name. So I'd think of a very traditional person. Like Kate or Katie better than Kathy as a nickname though. Physically- brown hair, slim, likely tallish.

A really out-going girl with beautiful long and wavy read hair that every girl in her class is jealous of. She has energetic emerald green eyes and cute freckles across her face.
She's kind and friendly, and has great taste in fashion.

Okay, to tell you the truth, I don't think it matters what "mental image comes to your mind when you hear this name". Kathleen Ann is a wonderful name, and I absolutely HATE it when people ask: what "hair colour" or what "skin colour" do you think this name says to you." It doesn't matter. All that matters is that you have a name you love.

A woman who is calm and collective. Very loving and traditional, but who has a fiery spirit underneath, and that will come out when defending family and friends. Someone loyal, affectionate, and giving.
A average to middle height person with lively brown hair with a hint of auburn highlights. Someone who stands proudly among others. A hardworker and go getter, whom nearly everyone enjoys being around. Lively, vibrant eyes that show a zest and love of life.

not to be rude in any way at all but a girl with terrible eye sight and really raggeddy blonde hair. the ann obrien thing sounds pretty but kathleen just doesnt sound like a very pretty person. but a name doesn't make the peerson the person makes the name so hopefully the baby is beautiful and has great eye sight.
