The man won the Superbowl with two different teams, and coached an NFL team to an undefeated season. I think he is entitled to an opinion in matters pertaining to football. I was wrong, he coached two teams in the superbowl, but didn't win with the Colts. He also has a ring as a player.

Don Shula is just scared that his undefeated record will be forgotten if the Patriots beat it. Which he does have a right to be scared considering the records of the opponents that he went up against. The Patriots' opponents record as of the 10th week is 39-42 and Shula's Dolphins opponents record for the regular season was 69-122-1. But yes, Shula should shut the hell up.

Don Shula won the Super Bowl with 1 team and then coached another 22 seasons without winning another one.

He should shut up. He's making himself look like an idiot. Look for Don Shula's Steakhouse in Providence to be out of business soon.

I don't agree with you at all.
The Patriots cheated and got caught.
They should be 9-1 but the god damn Commissioner wont listen to Shula.

Does Shula have Alzheimers?

Yes, he needs to shut his mouth. I respect Shula as a great coach, and his 1972 Dolphins were a great team. (I personally remember them)

But by openly broadcasting his bitterness, he is doing little more than tarnishing his reputation and embarassing himself.

Why do people let his comment bother them so much?
It's his opinion and you will find a lot of people actually agree. They just haven't come out and stated it publicly. If you can say barry bonds deserve and * by his name in the record books, what makes talking about the Pats different?

He's a hall of famer. They're allowed to run off at the mouth occasionally.
