Joba's_1fan claims that A-Rod is back and the YES network has confirmed it. I have looked at the YES network's site and I do not see any updates. Is this breaking news? Can anyone in NYC who has the YES network please confirm this story?

They spoke about him for quite a while!! They don't know the details about his contract! But this is what they said! AROD is working out a deal with Hal stienbrenner about comming back to the yankees! WITHOUT HIS AGENT BORAS! Arod said he wants to stay a yankee! I don't know what kind of a deal they worked out! John Sterling said it's 101% DONE DEAL!! I have no reason to spread rumors or make up stories!!
Edit
Bronx bombers Rule? That was awesome!! :)

"After spending time with Cynthia and my family over these last few weeks, it became clear to me that I needed to make an attempt to engage the Yankees regarding my future with the organization.

Prior to entering into serious negotiations with other clubs, I wanted the opportunity to share my thoughts directly with Yankees' ownership. We know there are other opportunities for us, but Cynthia and I have a foundation with the club that has brought us comfort, stability and happiness.

As a result, I reached out to the Yankees through mutual friends and conveyed that message. I also understand that I had to respond to certain Yankees concerns, and I was receptive and understanding of that situation.

Cynthia and I have since spoken directly with the Steinbrenner family. During these healthy discussions, both sides were able to share honest feelings and hopes with one another, and we expect to continue this dialogue with the Yankees over the next few days."

Nope, sorry I can't, even through I could find thier website, and listen viva online, but I haven't listened to this network, and the only way that I would be able to is viva the internet, since I am not in the New York area. But I still like to get 2 extra points, even through I would get best answer, and 10 addional points, even through it would be good, but that is the way that it goes. But at leasyt there is no such thing as worst answer.

Yahoo sports reported that they are negotiating talks again.
That's as far as they've gone and they are a pretty reliable source... and I was hoping Mark Cuban's *** would've bought the Cubs already and signed A-Rod.. not looking too good anymore..

yes, i do believe this is true.
i went on his website a few minutes ago, and he said that he wants the yankees to reconsider signing him.
personally, i think hes a dick (even though i'm a HUGE yankee fan)
i think he and his agent borASS reliezed that they will never get $350 mil. the only team who can really pay him good is the yankees, unless some other team wants to spend all of their money on him, which is not possible.

I have heard that A-Rod wants to stay a Yankee, but the Yankees won't talk to him as long as bor@ss is his agent.
