Don't let them push you around, be assertive. Look at them in their eye and tell them how you feel in a strong steady voice. Bullies feed on fear. Don't let the bully know your scared. Try and hang out with your friends. Bullies don't bully when their victim is part of a larger group. Get payback. Let the bully know how it feels like to be bullied. Ignore them. This always works. The bully will eventually get tired and leave your alone.
If their bullying you, instead be nice to the bully. Bullies want to make you miserable and sad. But if you act happy, and nice to the bully, they'll get irritated and leave you alone.

If you really want them to stop messing with you, there is only one way. You must cold clock the "main bully" in front of a lot of peers. Now, I don't mean fight the guy, like where everyone gets in a circle and you push each other around. I mean, when the guy is not paying attention like he's talking to a girl or a friend or whatever, just sneak up and punch him as hard as you can in the throat or nose. I assure you no one will mess with you again.

I've been there.
WHAT DOESN'T WORK:
Walking away
Ignoring it
Telling them to leave you alone.
Thinking an adult will solve it

Boys in school should NEVER, NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, listen to a GIRL's advice on dealing with bullies!!!! AAARRRRRRGGGH!!! I listened to all of that "ignore them, walk away" garbage. It was the WORST advice I have ever received in my whole life!! I was so stupid back then, I tried it 100 times!! It has NEVER worked, EVER!!!

It will never work for you either.

WHAT WILL WORK:
Tell the principal, "If you can't stop it, I will have to."
Telling the principal frees you from liability. You won't get in trouble when you have to...
I'm sorry to say this, but you're going to have to go ahead and try to beat the guy and put him in the hospital. A simple bloody nose ought to do it. If he's twice your size, then he's deadly force. Your pencil stabbed in the right place will do wonders. If the school tries to suspend you, tell them, "I've already told you once, nothing was done. I'm now suing you and this school for one million dollars!"
AS LONG AS YOU WERE THREATENED FIRST, AND YOU DID NOTHING BUT MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS, YOU CANNOT GET IN TROUBLE FOR DEFENDING YOURSELF!!! That's a lesson I wished I knew back when I was a teen.
Once I started fighting back, ALL of the bullies stopped.
You will have to fight about two times before word gets around that you are the guy that will do something.

Do you know what's really wrong with telling on someone to get them to stop?
Sure, they will stop if the principal or police have a talk with them, but here's something that will eat away your insides for the next 20 years. You will forever remember that YOU needed some help to stop a few guys. YOU did nothing to stop it yourself.

I have a black belt now, and am bigger, stronger, and faster than any of my bullies. I thought I would get payback at my high school reunion. Guess what? Bullies do not show up at reunions!! Guys who got picked on back in school will show up looking for payback.

If you do not know how to fight, you'll probably do something stupid like only hit a guy once, so he can recover and hit you back.
Here's what me, the black belt will do: A 10 hit combo even if he's already beaten and on the ground. I will give him the worst beating he has ever received, everybody watching will stop laughing and look on in horror. It will be a warning to anyone who dares pick a fight with me. I will do it because I know I can't get suspended, nor arrested for simply defending myself.
Try it. It will work. I promise. You don't even have to win the fight. If you win, he will never bother you again. If you tie, he will never bother you again. If you LOSE, but give him a good fight, he won't bother you again, You're now too much trouble for him.
If I had school to do over again, I would rather get suspended for defending myself instead of the proven failure of ignoring bullies.

"If you let a bully come into your garden one day, the next day he'll be up on your porch, and the day after that he'll rape your wife in your own bed. " --Lyndon B. Johnson, 36th president of the United States.

When I started Junior High, (Middle School) I was picked on by several bully's. My sisters went through the same. Once I started High School (9-12 grade) I was hanging out with my sisters and there friends. Since they were older, the teasing stopped for a time...until they graduated. It started up again. It didn't truly stop until I joined the weight lifting class. Once word got out that I was moving more weight than the other girls, the teasing stopped. I don't know how this might work for you, but intimidation by rumor, (not started by you), could do the trick. Good Luck.

look you seem like a really nice person so don't do any stupid that will ruin your life like stabbing someone or hitting them with a bat. last week around where i live there was a young man killed by getting hit. would you be able to live with a wrong choice. I would write a letter to the school telling them to keep a look out not writing any names this way they will watch you at school with out you "telling" on them . don't hit i fought my whole life and nothing can out of it. there will always be jerks in and out of school. so stay a good person and don't let them change you. Please don't do anything crazy. stay smart. Good luck (hugs)

Yo you need to start workin out son. Also in Brooklyn a guy like that gets a basball bat to the head. Trust me after gettin hit by a metal bat he is not going to bother you for a long time. and that is the truth right there.

no matter what you do you have to tell someone if you want it to stop. Like a counseler or a teacher the asnt. principal or principal. Tell them exactly what you told us.What they are doing is immature but getting help about it and making a difference for you safety is mature and smart.

Ignore them...they'll freak! Or get them back! Have them taste their own medicine! The best thing to do is stand up to them. Tell them that they can't just bully you around.

get 'em in the nuts
they bully you because you dont fight back...get 'em good or humiliate them as they try to humiliate you
When I have a problem with a person, I usually mirror(do exactly what they do) their behaviors..and it usually trips 'em out pretty good

DB & tarzan have some good times too
