Why are liberals so worked up to have a Democrat President??

They voted in a majority last election, and look at how low their approval ratings???

And please refrain from using the name BUSH in your defence... he's a Republican, and is NOT in control of the Senate.

This is about the job performance of YOUR people, YOUR congress.
P.S. Bush has a higher approval rating than you guys... AHHAHHAAHHAAHA sorry.. had to get that out.

Shilo - Apparently, you have forgotten what your Democratic leaders promised you if you would elect them, and then followed up on whether they actually do that...

I was too smart to fall into those old lies, so i did my best by voting Republican... but lies won again.... when are we going to have a representative body that doesn't lie???

Why do they even call it an"approval" rating when it's clear to everyone that most people "Disapprove" of the Democrat controlled congress. Way to go Nancy!

Apparently you have forgotten that the Democrats have a very slim majority, meaning that there are still MANY Republicans in Congress. The low approval rating is also a reflection of the many Republicans who are also in Congress...

In short, the low approval rating for Congress could be a result of poor regard for Democrats AND/OR Republicans. The low approval rating for the President is a result of the poor regard for the President only.

Think harder next time.

----Update-----

I'm not a Democrat. I just figured I would point out the logical problem in your argument. The plain fact of the matter is that some people may not approve of the Congress based on the actions of the Republicans in Congress. Try to prove me wrong from a logical standpoint.

Congress has always had low aproval. Not often this low, but low. The reason is fairly simple. Most voters aprove of thier own Congressman - who targets his campaign issues to thier regional interests - but disaprove of the terrible job Congress does as a whole (it is, afterall, made up of people who are primarily concerned with getting 'pork' for thier districts).
