- After the TV tapings were over, JBL gathered John Morrison, the Miz, MVP, CM Punk, and Matt Hardy backstage. JBL went on to “dress down and berate” the Miz and Morrison for their color commentary on ECW. JBL felt that they ripped Punk apart in their commentary and made Punk look bad as opposed to them just being heels and saying bad things about him. He then yelled at them for their ring work during their match with MVP & Matt Hardy and told both Miz & Morrison to apologize to Punk, MVP & Hardy for making all 3 of them look bad.
The Miz apologized to them, but Morrison told JBL “screw you, it's none of your business, and he didn't say screw, he said another word” and said that he would apologize to them, but it had nothing to do with JBL. They went back and forth arguing and at one point Morrison shoved JBL and the agents had to come and break the dispute up.
No word on what the fallout from this situation will be.

Thats bull. I think Morrison is right in this situation. Who is JBL to say that Morrison and Miz "ripped Punk apart"? Aren't Morrison & Miz heels? Isn't that what they are supposed to do? And isn't that what JBL does every single week to Rey Mysterio?

JBL should take a step back, check his own commentary where he buries people, and mind his own business. CM Punk, Hardy, and MVP are all grown men and if they had a problem with the situation they could bring it up themselves. This fact that these "veterans" like JBL, The Undertaker, and Bob Holly want to police the boys backstage tells me that they don't care about the situation but use it as another oppourtunity to show their status and look superior in front of everyone. As far as their commentary, if I recall correctly, their banter was mostly about that stupid hat and not really CM Punk. I am all about respect for the veterans, but it seems some take any oppourtunity they can to bust a guys balls and butt-in when their opinions are out of place. Most likely Morrison is going to find himself on a major losing streak because the situation after JBL cries to Vince about respect and how Morrison didn't just bend over take it from him. Politics strike again.

Well I know JBL is a heel, but talking "real life" JBL is a veteran and those young guys should listen to him, so Miz did the right thing not Morrison, obviously!

Morrison will probably be out of the WWE b/c Jbl is an important person backstage and has power

Morrison needs to learn how to respect wrestling veterans like JBL. he should be suspended for a few weeks, and be put out of the ECW title picture.
i used to respect Morrison, but now that he shows how disrespectfull he is, screw him.

well, Morrison ain't getting the title on Sunday and Miz ain't that good to be the #3 champion.
Point is: you don't mess with the only guy on the active WWE roster NOT from the McMahon family (other than HHH) that gets to fly in Vince's private jet.

how did JBL punk Morrison? Morrison told him to fu** himself and shoved him. JBL got punked by the Shamon of Sexy.. who the hell is JBL anyways?

I think John Morrison will get the bigger push. He has more potential than the Miz and I think he is more ready to be pushed into main event status than Miz is. I do think the Miz will eventually get a big push, just not this year.
