When scientists cannot agree on something they gather for a meeting ( like the international space conference to rule that Pluto is not a planet ) and agree on the greatest majority. If an opposing group agrees on something then they have different classification.

Then there would be no clear definition of terms. If different scientists classify things differently, then how would each one know what the other is referring to? For example, one scientists classifies animals in one way, and another classifies animals differently? So when the first scientist talks about "animals", he is talking about something different than then second scientist.
This is confusing, and it also makes performing and replicating experiments really difficult and makes the results unreliable. There needs to be a universal classification system so it is easily understood what characteristics a group entails.

They will probably have a board meeting as everyone does now and try to settle it that way, if it can not be settled like that then it probably won't get resolved at that time. They may have a majority vote as well and which ever has the most votes is the answer.

they have a debate. they use comparisons on where the thing lives, what it eats, and relatives. They start with the broadest classification and work their way down
Kingdom
Phylum
Class
Order
Family
Genus
Species
scientific names r made up from the Genus and Spicies names like humans:
Genus: Homo "same" in latin
Species: Sapien "wise man" in latin
thats y humans are HomoSapiens
P.S. im only a 7th grader
