Is it legal for me to grow my own Salvia and then sell it to my friends?

For real. I need to know. And if it is legal about how many grams do you think I would be able to sell in a week? Thanks!

dpends on the legality of salvia in your state..there are only 7 states and 2 countries that it is illegal in if you do not live in one of those places then feel free..i can't answer your part about how many grams as i know nothing on how long it takes to grow but i know in tobacco stores here in arizona a very very small amount sells for $30

As to growing and consuming your own, that depends on what State you're in. It's legal in some States, a controlled substance in some others.

Selling it to others, however, would require a license in the US, as selling 'anything' for human consumption is regulated by the FDA. Although the Federal Gov't has not banned Salvia, the FDA will not issue such a license.

Additionally, Salvia has strong psychoactive properties. If someone you sold it to - legally OR illegally - had a bad reaction and killed himself (it has been linked to increased rates of suicide) or, for example, drove a car and killed someone, then YOU would be civilly liable for the damages.
