I would shake his hand, it's just common courtesy. If my guys couldn't stop him from racking up 52 points, then that would be my own fault as a coach. I think the bigger question would be if Belichick would shake your hand after stomping your team. My guess is that he, as an arrogant jackass, would manufacture something in his mind that makes him think that he was disrespected and would snub the other coach after the game.

If the majority of the points were all scored in the first half then kept the starters in, NO, I would not, for there is a difference between being a bad loser and a bad winner, this is an example of the latter of the two

I wouldn't like it, but out of good sportsmanship I would still shake his hand. I really couldn't blame Belichick in the first place, because I would have to look at myself, my coaching staff, and my players for allowing the insulting defeat.

I would, then probably insult my guys on defense in the press room.
Although, it depends on the situation. Were they up 45 - 0 at the half? Did they go for it on 4th down in the 4th quarter from 6 yards out? I might say a bit more about those things...
But a handshake, yeah, he kicked my ***, and I probably deserved it for not doing so hot as a coach.

Yes, I'd show as much class as Joe Gibbs...Seems to me the media was complaining about the 52 points, but not Gibbs or the Redskins...Its the defenses job to stop the offense...They couldn't do it...

Yes. I would respect the fact he treated me like an equal, even though it was obvious we were not. If he started subbing in 2nd and 3rd stringers...it would tell me he didn't respect me, didn't think I was dangerous. Having to have someone else preserve your dignity for you is pathetic.

It would be hard but I would. It's the NFL not high school football so I don't think you should have to pull your starters.
