I am not owned, and therefore I am not the "property" of anyone or anything.
I freely give my wife the loyalty she deserves for herself and our children. For that matter, no one owns her (or the children) either. She is not my "property" nor are the children.
(I thought "ownership" of people was outlawed along with slavery).
However, our government seems to hold the opinion the we belong to them... I will be the first to differ on that issue, even if it means a bullet with my name on it! At least I will die as Free Human Being instead of being enslaved as someone else's real, or imagined, property.
