Oh is that his plan! I get it, by driving the dollar down to meet the peso, there'd be no reason for anyone to immigrate from Mexico! Insidious! And here all this time I just thought he was a baffoon...

Afraid not. These are just temporary events. America will recover and come back strong on every front. It probably be on another Presidents watch but it will happen. America will never sink as low as Mexico with the economy, wages and jobs. So their people will keep coming in illegally.

Dick, you must live in Michigan. Why does anyone care if the canadian looney is worth more than the dollar? Do you travel to canada a lot? Immigration? If we weren't trying to stop them, most of south america would move here, don't you realize that? The only state that has illegal immigrants leaving is the democrat stronghold of michigan.

Where did you get your facts? The economy is stronger than ever (per capita and nominally), wages arent sinking, and there is plenty of job creation (166,000 last month alone). So, yes Bush is a genious but not for your crazy statements.
