What would you bring that would reflect your absolute best culinary efforts, or what YOU like the most?

I would make a chocolate stout triple layer cake.

I would bring YOU as my date. That would ABSOLUTELY show my good taste. I would take you out to the place you liked the best, and the additional advantage that there would be no dishes to wash, no mess to clean up, and no leftovers to worry about.

OK, Grace, if I can make it back to Fairbanks by next Thursday, I'll make my Mom's recipe for Candied yams which I make with brown sugar, butter, Karo syrup, and nuts. And, of course, marshmallows at the end.

And I also insist on bringing FRESH cranberry sauce. That stuff in the can is so lame, I don't know why it's sold.

BTW, what time should I fly in?

I'd bring my mixed southern greens...kale, collards and turnips cooked with ham hocks, a squirt of Jack Daniels and my special seasonings.

I'd also bring my mom's special recipe, which I now make - of escalloped oysters in rich cream sauce...makes a wonderful side with the dressing

I would just bring my usual charming self and some beans. You will have to cook the beans. Everyone tells me ' You can't cook for beans ' so I figure that would be the thing to bring. Have a great Thanksgiving!!!

A string bean casserole, and a lime custard cake with cream cheese frosting. I'll see you on Thanksgiving!

I make a mighty mean stuffing and a jello salad with cream cheese. Dinner at 2:00? My house or yours? Can't wait.

Well, we are a bit different. Instead of turkey we have the traditional swan. The drumsticks are bigger. LOL!

I would stop at the store and pick up some rolls or a pie. My favorite store has a wonderful bakery.
