miami needs shaq back! i've watched at least four miami games... mostly cuz i don't like shaq and like to watch him lose, but enough is enough. maybe i'm feeling for him in his old age, but the decline has been swift and graceless. he's never turned himself into a better free throw shooter to stop teams from hacking him and he has stopped committing himself to staying in shape for the past 6 years. he's all the team has till wade comes back and its just a sad sad sight to behold. as for seatlle did anyone really think they would be good after trading two all-stars and a combined 48 something such points (allen and lewis) points a game away and drafting a very talented but young (one and done freshman) Kevin Durant? as for the game i'm going for the kid! SEA: 86 MIA: 81

So far, Seattle's winning, which is hilarious. I'm going to laugh so hard if the Sonics get their first win against Miami . . . with D. Wade.
The Sonics are going to be a powerhouse team in a year or two. Durant is just going to get better. Miami wasn't as much of a fluke as Cleveland, but Miami is done. Shaq, especially, is done.

PJ Carlesimo has gotten a lot of criticism for forcing Durant the ball. I think if they move the ball around more they're a contending team. I don't know that it'll be an exciting game, especially if Ricky Davis has an off night, the Sonics in all honesty don't really seem to care about the game right now. So I'll have to go with Miami on this one. Miami's not a bad team, Wade is just too important of a piece. Unfortunately, Shaq just can't post the numbers he used to, age is catching up to him.
Amend that, Miami for sure, Wade's back on the active roster.
Note to above, you don't have to have "standout" talent to be a contending team. That's why Argentina has schooled us the past three years in the world championships. I don't mean contending in the sense of playoff or championship material, I mean contending in more competitive than the walkovers they are right now. You can't say that the players on the Sonics or Heat aren't good, because they are. While no one's a super star, they have solid players (it's like Toronto). They just don't play well together.

Not as bad as it appears to be.
It's safe to say at this time Seattle only will care about the development of Durant and get another top draft pick next year.
Miami still have a chance go to playoff. Wade is in his prime and Shaq still has something left. the only thing they should concern is Rick Davis, if he can just fit in then they might even go deep in playoff.
These two teams should not play desperately like it sound to be. As for saving their face, Look how bad Boston last year and how good them this year, so who cares?

Maybe Jerry Buss made a good decision back in 2004. Maybe trading Shaq was the right way to go, even though it gave Shaq a ring, it helped Buss in the long run (salary cap wise). Shaq's fat *** is sitting on $20 million a year. But for the game tonight, at least Miami has Wade back. Who knows, The Williams/Davis/Wade backcourt could be big tonight.

Heat will win it all. I mean, isn't Seattle 0-8? If Dwyane Wade, comes back, there's no competition. Dwyane Wade for MVP and Hall of Fame. Dwyane rules all.

LOL I just watched this morn, about ESPN in the morn (Mike&Mike)! I dont know either, thats why Buss didn't want Shaq, u can take the success of Shaq right now, and your stuck with that big contract, and 50-55 games a year!
I say MIA b/c I like Shaq but his best numbers are 19pts, 7reb, 1blk. I really don't like Davis. He just shoots first before passing, everywhere he's gone he's missed up teams. First w/the CAVS
Cavs:decent numbers sad win/lost
Bos: decent numbers sad win/lost
MIA: can't say, this is his second time thier
MIA:85 Shaq:24pts, 10reb, 1blk
Sonics:93 Durant:27pts, 3ast, 4rebs,
Then again Seattle has Durant, and Wilcox

Seattle wins i think but this will be a terrible game to watch...only real exciting player in the game is durant and he's a rookie...so what does that say...w/o wade, the heat are nothing, now we see how deserving he was of that finals mvp trophy
ok to respond with the guy below---seattle will never be a contending team, where the hell do you come up with that idea...look who they have...theres really not stand out talent at all and you expect them to "condent" with teams like the suns, spurs, and rockets...NOT IN THIS LIFETIME...and miami...yea they're not a bad team.......NOT....they look lost on the court without wade..if he's not there, they run around like its a chinese fire drill.....
haha told you guys seattle would win...and they had wade too...
