I took four undergraduate courses and 11 graduate courses in Philosophy.

The absolute best course I ever took was Intro-Philosophy II. The absolute worst course I ever took was Intro-Philosophy I. The quality of the classes often depend on the person teaching the class.

If done right, the course involves a lot of reading and writing -- but teaches you to think critically. Most of my philosophy classes were very interesting. None were easy.

I took intro to Philosophy and hated it. It was a "seminar", so there were only like, 12 of us. We had to sit around this table and everyone had to talk....it was all about Dante and it was HORRID. I only took it because it was required. The teacher was Russian, and spoke horrible English. I've had friends take Philosophy classes and love them. Take an interesting one, not just a general one like mine. There should be tons..."philosophy of ________". Pick one you're interested in!

Interesting, but can screw your mind if you are not careful. It tried to make me question my beliefs and faith.
