do we have the right to kill an animal if it bites us? i dont think we should b able 2 kill them, its not right 4 us 2 put them under us, animals, in my opion, r more superior then us, we just dont let them have any power. but thats my opionin

Yes animals do have rights. Ever heard of animal cruelty? that is a law that can be put into effect when someone harms/neglects an animal. Although i don't think nearly enough people get caught doing this. I think it's wrong that we bred so many animals to be domesticated to the point where they NEED us to live, then abandon them and expect them to live out on the cold streets. That's why I tell everyone spay/neuter your animal!! That way we don't have a million puppies/kitten with no homes!

No, animals have no rights in law.

In most jurisdictions there are laws that make it illegal to abuse animals, but a violation of such a law would be an issue between the government and the defendant - the animal itself has no legal rights.

I love animals,especially the tasty ones! what's next mosquito rights? all you twits that are concerned about animal rights should visit darfur,sudan,iraq and all the other 3rd world cesspools .where do you people come up with this silly sh*it? human rights is the real issue,keep your eye on the real problem.
