This question is mainly for those Kobe Jockers:

I'm asking this because Kobe is old enough to have influenced Lebron.....and if Kobe is better & more amazing then MJ then why did Lebron chose Jordan's # & not Kobe's?

Lebron James # 23:
Born: 12/3084

1996-97 is Kobe's rookie year:
Lebron was 13

2000 is when Shaq got Kobe his first ring:
Lebron was 16

Now check this out:

1985 was MJ's rookie season:
Lebron was 1 (not even old enough to get influenced)

1991 was when MJ won his first title
Lebron was 7 (at a age of not great understanding)

1998 was MJ's last title run:
Lebron was 14

Anyways, it looks like Lebron was able to see more years of Kobe's career at a better age of understanding. My question is if Kobe was so good then why didn't Lebron chose Kobe's # and picked MJ's?

KOBE BRYANT SUCKS AND NOBODY WOULD EVER WEAR HIS NUMBER IN HONOR!

P.S. There is guys that's younger (college players) then Lebron that's wearing # 23.

Because he dosen't want to be like Kobe. Why would you choose your number after a ballhog, with a me-first attitude, who ripped apart a championship team, and is a rapist? LBJ is smart, he knows who the real G.O.A.T. is!

MJ>LeBron>Kobe

B/C Lebron stated that he wears the #23 b/c he loved MJ, just like the rest of us! U basically answered your own question

Some guards do wear his number tho. Meaning Kobe Bryant's number

C'mon Kobe didn't even start his rookie year, he didn't become a 20 plus scorer until his 4th season! In-other-words Lebron was a better player in his rookie year( but Kobe was surrounded by better players) Kobe really sucked in the late 90's or wasn't that great in the 90's for the Kobe fans.

Basically that's why fans are mad with Kobe! They waited nicely 3 season's for the kid to be at least 19.9PPG score. They supported him when Colorado and the rest of the world hated him!

lol dude there can be people born today that will wear number 23 because his dad tells him that Mike is the greatest baller of all time. ****, I wore 23 when I was playing for my 6th grade AAU team. But believe me, there will be ppl later on and even right now that will wear 8 or 24.

Lebron like ball-hogs. remember that one commercial he said, "you dont want to be lebron james, you want to be better than lebron james." and who cares, it's only a jersey number, i pick 25, is that alright? oh yeah, if kobe is nothing without shaq, i assume that jordan is garbage without rodman and pippen.

Because 23 stands for good, and 8 and 24 stand for evil.
