Does anyone know of a website where you can search for legal descriptions of land in Arkansas?

Please don't tell me to check with the assessor's office or appraiser's office, I've already tried. I'm not looking for advice, I'm looking for a link.

I recommend a surveyor or a title company for the legal description.

I doubt that you will find anything reliable on a website.

You're not going to find what you are looking for, since it doesn't exist. You will need to contact the land registry office in the county in Arkansas in which the property in question is located. That is where legal descriptions are recorded and kept on file. Depending on the county, they MAY have a website which provides this information, either free or for a fee. Or you may have to physically visit the office to obtain a copy of what you are seeking.

Hiring a lawyer for minor legal problems can be expensive, but there are websites like LawGuru, FindLaw and other places where you can get free legal advice. I found this website useful - http://www.uelp.org/freelegal.html

You can call a Realtor, they have access to that stuff too.
