Does anyone know of any future gaming console releases now that the ps3, 360, and wii are out?

The PS3 hasn't even been out for a whole year yet(but in a few days it will be) and you're already asking about the next gaming consoles!

I would be surprised if Sony had even started on working on another Sony console this early. I think that we will hear about a future Sony console in at least 4 or 5 years from now.

As for another Xbox console and Nintendo console, I could care less.

Actually, it's normal for console manufacturers to start planning for the next system just 2-3 weeks after the launch of a system. They start making a series of plans for how much they want it to cost (usually 3 price ranges), and then make a variety of estimates as to what they expect, in 5 years time, they could put into the system for that cost, and start evaluating them.

But yeah, the next systems to get replaced will be the handhelds, and that's probably 2 years away.

Those three are the next gens, and I'd expect some 3-6 years will pass before you see the release of the next next gens... As this is how its been going
