Is there more to worry about with a daughter than a son?

there is to worry when it comes to both sexes yes the girls get pregnant and the boys are the ones who get them pregnant..raise them both with the same morals and values and they will be fine...my 2 teenage kids are the best!! and i raised them as a single mom!!

The amount of freedom allowed should NOT be based on gender. It should be based on age and maturity. I know some 14 year olds who can handle more freedom than some 16 year olds. So age should not be the ONLY factor.
As for your second question, yes, I believe there is more to worry about with a daughter than a son. It has nothing to do with the child, but with society. There are a lot of sickos out there. If your son gets careless (drunk, etc...) he can wind up in a fight, getting robbed or being arrested. If your daughter lets her guard down, she can wind up being raped!

i think there's more to worry about with a daughter than a son. so no. but i'm a teen girl so all daughters and sons should be treated the same!!

You have asked a very difficult question,on the one hand teenage girls are more vulnerable than boys too predators and con men,and on the other hand if i was a teenage girl i would say hell no!!i am more responsible than most teenage boys and i will do same as any other teenage boy and the world is my oyster.

Unfortunately there is more to worry about with a daughter- so you have to teach her more. As for granting more freedoms to the male, I don't think so- you raised her and if you did it right she should be able to make wise choices.

there is more to worry about with daughters, but that's why they shouldn't give their sons much freedom either! it should be equal.

no but if one teenager can show more responsibility then a same aged teenager, whether male or female the more responsible on should have more freedom

Just an observation: most girls will say no and most boys will say yes.
You have a point, boys aren't very likely to get abducted and raped or get pregnant. But it doesn't mean that they deserve more freedom than girls; it doesn't mean that they're more responsible.

That's so stupid. The amount of freedom allowed should depend on the child and the amount of maturity they encompass, not whats in between there legs.
