Not very big actually, maybe a vocabulary of 75,000 "normal" words (not including my work related words) and 100,000 total words. I cannot answer crosswords very well and I am always having to use a thesaurus.

depends on the language. i know most in english and the least in Icelandic. latin, greek are ok. german, spanish, are good. lakota, french, vietnamese are ok.
