Winston Churchill:
To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.
Samuel McChord Crothers:
Try as hard as we may for perfection, the net result of our labors is an amazing variety of imperfectness. We are surprised at our own versatility in being able to fail in so many different ways.
Geoffrey F. Fisher:
When you aim for perfection, you discover it's a moving target.

No, but trying to be a perfect you, the good, the bad, and the beautiful is worth it. If you are a perfect writer, wonderful. If yu are a perfect slob, wonderful also... as long as it is the real you and not just you being too depressed to be good to yourself.
Again, you already are perfect. The perfect you! <>

Maybe you should try being yourself, nobody is perfect and if you try to be perfect 24-7 you sometimes come across as fake

If you are just yourself, then you are perfect already, the way God intended it to be. But for some reason it seems like it is so difficult for us human beings to relax and just be ourselves. Only because it is hard for us to accept ourselves.
Trying to be perfect they way we think perfect is, no, definitely not, we have a crooked idea of what perfect is and that will only frustrate us to no end.

The enemy of good is perfect. -Dr. Pressman.
Trying to be perfect, in my opinion, is unGodly, unhealthy and downright stupid. No human being is capable of being perfect, no matter how hard they try, or how much they pretend. It is a much more worthwhile endeavor to accept our imperfections and learn how to make what we are the best it is, just as it is. Work with what ya got, so to speak, instead of trying to be something you can't be (perfect).

Nope. Because everyone has a different definition of perfect. Therefore, it's impossible to be perfect.

Strive to be the best you can and leave it at that. Perfection isn't going to be achieved no matter how hard you try.

Perfection can not be achieved. Believe me I'm a perfectionist, but nothing is perfect, but our flaws make the world more interesting. so just be happy with who you are.
