So...what exactly would this parallel study test exactly? That's the problem with intelligent design....no testable hypothesis and therefore it's not science.

Evolution is science, and thus, should be taught in science class. Students who don't accept it should stay in the class and educate themselves. If they don't, they should fail that particular class. Students should not be allowed to pick and choose which parts of a lesson plan they do and don't want to learn about. That's at the teacher's and school board's discretion.
