I'm thinking about taking up an instrument as a hobby and am not sure which one to start. These three are my only interests. Tell me why you think the instrument is best. (For example: I like the guitar best because...)

So many guitarists...;P
Any pianists...drummers want to defend their instruments. And "because I play them" does not help me out.

I took piano lessons for 5 years as a child but haven't touched one in years. I really want to learn how to play the guitar. I would go for the guitar b/c it would be fun.

I like the guitar best. It is easy to learn. I have been playing for 7 years now. I can play a bit on the piano, but it's difficult to learn.
I prefer acoustic guitar. It sounds best for just casual playing, and you don't need to lug an amp everywhere.

Guitar is best because you can take it wherever you go and people will sing along when you play!
