My adult sims needed to live independently. However, everytime these sims try to call their family members whom they've left, no family member is on the call list? Do you have any idea how I can get them to communicate again? Thank you.

in that case you might have get people that are walking in front of your house then talk to them and meet new people

Thats strange, it happened to one of my sims, it's a glitch in the system, you may need to patch it, or uninstall and reinstall it.
The other way would be download a transporter bush, then just transport the family members directly to the adult sims lot, and they can touch base, and maybe meeting up again will add them to the phone list.

that is strange because normally they should be on the call list. what you can do though is play sims and patiently watch the people passing by your house. when you see the person that you want to communicate with, introduce yourself to that sim and start a brand new relationship. you can then become closer and invite him or her over and eventually they will ask if he or she can bring a friend and you will slowly get to know all of the family. also have a party, it will make the sim more prone to inviting family.

Did you move the Sims into a house? If they're just lurking in the family bin, you won't be able to contact them; you have to put them on a lot -- with a phone.
