Be mature about this. This person is out in the real world and just in case you are misinterpretting his intentions, go to the school principal or a teacher you can trust and calmly explain that you find this strange and uncomfortable and would like it to stop. If you act freaked out and it turns out it was harmless, this man could lose his job. Be careful, but definitely take care any situation by telling an adult you trust because feeling unsafe at school is not okay. Good luck :)

Well, he might be trying to show that he is Asian as well, or that he knows your language. BUT, I would watch out, since I was working in a company in Chicago and this Vietnamese man delivered our blueprints because he was a senior citizen and the blueprinter paid him to use his senior pass to deliver the prints. I was 24 at the time and he tells me he likes me. I was thinking he meant in a friendly way so I said I liked him too - then he lunges at me and tries to kiss me! So strange! I had told him before that I was engaged - what was he thinking? Apparently in some places, very old men marry young girls - but not where I come from! I had to have it made clear that this was a cultural mis-understanding but he would need to understand that his fantasy was never going to work out with me. Then the blueprinter tells us that he has had this misunderstanding at other companies! Yuck. They decided to keep him in the shop running prints and leave their customers alone. Whew! I was relieved. He was a little too optimistic for my reality. You could ask someone to have him not be chatting up the Asian girls in the school - if he is older he does not need to be chatting girls up at all.

what freaks me out is that your janitor can speak at least 4 langueges !! that's pretty freakin incledible. but as far a stalking goes, just keep an eye on him, don't get stuck alone after school with him. safety in numbers and all that, it may be nothing , but you should never question you instincts,if you feel threatened don't be afraid to let it be known, you should be mean especially in front of teachers so they can get involved

You need to tell your principal that the janitor is making you feel uncomfortable. He may just be trying to be nice, but if it make you feel uncomfortable he needs to stop. If you arent comfortable telling your principal, tell your parents and have them contact the school. You don't need to get the guy fired or anything...he should just be talked to about the fact that he is making the students uncomfortable.

May be worth mentioning to your form tutor. He/She may have a quiet word with schooling staff. But talking to a pupil(s) is not really tantamount to Stalking. If he was following you home then perhaps. I suppose it must be impressive though for a caretaker (janitor) to be multi-lingual.
To be honest all communication between staff and pupil should be kept corporate and not personal.

Go to your parents asap. Have them set up a meeting with the principle to discuss this. If anybody at your school is making you feel uncomfortable, you need to speak up. Have your friends do the same.

In the meantime, just avoid him. If he talks to you, just walk away. If he follows you, go to a teacher or the principle. You have a right to feel safe in school.

How old are you? If you are under 18 you need to tell an adult immediately!!! This may be more serious than you know. Tell your parents! Tell your teacher! Tell somebody!!! It's better to be safe where strange occurrences with men are concerned. Take care of yourself and your friend.

please tell one of your teachers, piers, parents or family member's. You can never be to safe. Make sure someone know's where you are at all times and never be alone. Always travel in a group of at least 2 people...Report it to the school nurse if you feel more comfortable...BE CAREFUL...Our instincts as women are usually right and if he make you feel uncomfortable then get out of their quick...Try taking some self defence classes just incase...

He's not really supposed to be talking to students except in the "line of duty" which this isn't. Sounds like he studied Asian languages or lived overseas & wants to show his knowledge. But you're kids & he's an adult. I'd go to principal with this.
