Yes I am and I've treated people who have been in real accidents. It may only be a few minutes before the paramedics get to the scene, but that couple minutes really does mean the difference between this person living or not.

Technically yeah, I'm a student nurse and we learnt paediatric and adult CPR two weeks ago. But previous to that, I learnt basic CPR at school about 4/5 years ago.
I personally think it's important for everyone to try and learn even basic first aid, as you never know what might happen when you leave your front door, someone could collapse on you or anything!

i learned CPR and the Heimlich (sp?) maneuver, but other than that i don't think i could treat anyone with a gun shot wound! good for you! =)

I am, we didn't get fake blood though, just a resuci-annie (is that her name?) but I never collected the certificate so I can't stick it on my CV.
