Whats your opinion? Its likely that if you have COD4, (360), then you have halo3. Who do you think should be crowned as this years #1 FPS.

Halo 3 is good, props to Bungie for being able to record videos, take screenshot pics, and of course the map forging!
Call of Duty 4, to me, is a perfect FPS game. Single player is as I expected from the Call of Duty franchise, Super Hard. I haven't had this much fun playing online matches since Gears of War first came out, this time around last year. I'm sitting at work now, but my mind is thinking of COD4.
Call of Duty 4 = Game of the year!!

In all seriousness, it could be a very close call. Halo 3 and COD4 are both very good FPS games with strong multiplayer components.
Halo 3:
- In-depth stat tracking
- Saved game replays
- Forge
- Online ranking system
COD4
- In-depth ranking system (better than H3)
- Good maps
Halo 3 has some better features in my opinion but COD4 is pretty fun.
It's hard to say, you could flip a coin on this one.

wasn't crysis and cod4 tied for shooter of the year?
I have to tip my hat off to crysis.
cod4 is a great game, but I think crysis is a touch better and the whole world can use the crysis engine any way they want with the proper license.
plus its much more scalable so more people will be able to play it.....
today was the release of crysis and we'll se how it goes.

no question mate, COD4 is the best, halo 3 is just a normal shooting game with little bit of advanced game engine and graphics, but COD4 is awsome, the game engine, and the graphics is awsome, it will be a revolution for sure.

Call of duty is so cool the graphics are awesome in both and the both are so addicting but if i have to choose i would choose halo3

call of duty 4 is probably the one of the best FPS shooter for this year, but i think the best one is going to be bioshock. bioshock will probably be game of the year for this year. halo 3 is just overhyped and overrated. it is a good game but not as good as most people think.
