These are the 2 problems:
x-5y= -1
-2x+5y=-3

You need to find out the X and Y variables. There was no matrix or determinant, so I'm not sure how to do it. I tried doing it without them, and I got (-20, 1), but those numbers are wrong. If you know how to figure out this problem, please describe how you got it, so I can finish the rest of my homework.

There is of course a matrix present. It is a square matrix (2 x 2) matrix.
1 -5 -1 -1 -5
-2 5 -3 so that Dx -3 5

Cramer's Rule gives you (4, 1 )
