Every woman i have ever discussed periods with (mom, friends, docs, etc.) have worn solely tampons at some point in their lives, then switched to pads on a regular basis using tampons only for "special occasions" ie tight dress, swim suit, etc. I don't know what the stats are, but that's got to count for something.

i use tampons more, i feel cleaner because with pads i feel like im wearing a nappy and selfconscious people can hear it rustling wen i walk (sounds daft i know, ive never heard anyone else with a ruslting pad lmao)
But i do have towels, sometimes i can be very heavy so wear both a tampon and a pad just incase i leak, not very nice in college or shopping so its always best to be careful if you suffer from heavy periods

Tampons over pads, every time.

(though this may actually be from an advert for pads)

I've always used tampons, but I've recently switched to a menstrual cup. It's so much better! Best of luck!

i usually wear pads and tampons only when i have to go out (dinner, clubbing etc) because tampons somehow give me really bad abdominal pain and make me bloated and gassy.
