Wives- what is a typical weekly evening like with your husband?

just thought it would be interesting. What do you do? Do you have joint interests etc.

wives- meaning, anyone living with a man!!

are we seeing a pattern here girls?

5:00 I leave work
5:20 Get to my mom's.
5:45 Get text from my husband: "Will pik u up at 6"
6:30 Still waiting
6:45 Second text from my husband "Outsid"
7:00 Home with the baby.
7:15-8:15 Struggle to get the baby to sleep. Meanwhile husband eats, watches TV, plays on computer.
8:30 Baby finally asleep, I get my shower. Husband sits on couch and gets cookie and ice cream crumbs all over the floor.
8:50 Shower done, enter kitchen. Husband has lovingly put all his dishes in the sink complete with food still on them..all waiting for me to do.
9:00 Make a salad for myself.
9:05 Sit down to eat, husband complains that my salad smells weird (??)
9:10 Baby wakes up again..
9:40 Baby back asleep..husband playing with his laptop.
9:45 Throw rest of salad away..not very good anymore..the dressing is warm..yuk.
10:00 Start dishes
10:30 Finally sit down.
10:45 Husband whines it is time for bed.

He comes home from work and while he's stripping down to his underwear, we chat about how his day went. Then he has a snack to tide him over till supper. We read the mail and watch the news together. One of us or both make supper together, depending on what time it is. We sit down and eat supper, chatting once in awhile. Then we both clear the table and load the dishwasher together. During the summer we take a short stroll outside and during the winter, we curl up in blankets in our respective recliners, one snores while the other watches TV or does a crossword puzzle.
I get ready for bed while he checks the house before going to sleep. If we're going to have sex, he comes to bed when I do. If he's not in the mood or he knows by my attitude that I'm not in the mood, he'll take the time to watch the nightly news at 10. I give him a back rub till he falls asleep if I'm not already asleep when he gets there.
It's sounds very boring and sometimes I look at it that way, but most of the time, it's comforting because he's there.
The first year of our relationship, it was foreplay and sex at anytime of the day, including before, during, or after supper and before we went to sleep, but those moments are fewer in between....till one of us gets a wild hair and tries something different.

Rubbish! I work from 5 to 9.30, but when we are together, he spends the time moaning about his bloody job! The exact conversation has been repeated from earlier in the day! He picks me up from work with the kids in the car. When we get home, I find that I'm carrying a sleeping 2 year old from the car to the house.I put him to bed and then reheat the dinner that one of us has prepared earlier, trying not to suffer any indigestion cause he's moaning about the bloody job and his manager. Hubby deals with paperwork relating to his job or he had Driving instructor Training earlier that evening. We go to bed at 11,- he's still moaning about work! I get asked about MY evening, I just grunt "Fine", turn over and fall asleep, ready for the next round of monotony! Sex is a rarity!

He usually starts making dinner as soon as he gets home, (he loves cooking). I stop and grab a bottle of wine or a 6-pack and help out with finishing dinner when I get home.

We watch what we taped on the DVR or play video games and just relax from the hectic workday. We do all our main chores on Saturday together.

Not super exciting but it's a nice thing to look forward too at the end of the day. :)

When he gets home he usually chills out surfing on the computer for an hour or so reading news or playing a video game with our daughter then he or I start cooking dinner and we usually help each other. We all eat dinner together then after dinner we sometimes play a board game or watch a movie. After a dish of ice cream it is time to put our child in bed. Then we smoke some herb and chill. Sometimes he falls asleep on the couch and sometimes he gets lucky. :)

I'm not a wife - just co-habiting!
One of us would cook dinner as soon as we get in (about sixish), it's usually both. Then we'd eat in the kitchen, I'd take the plates to the worktop, then we'd go into the living/bedroom and watch Mash (it's his favourite for the mo, just got the boxset!) and cuddle up on the sofa. I'd do the dishes on my way to the bathroom, then go to bed about eleven (though as it's cold I send him in early to warm up the bed!)

well my hubby works until 10 so he doesn't get home until 10:30. By the time he gets home I have been home for 4 hours and I am tired and ready for bed. We usually watch one of our tivo'd shows together, then I get ready for bed and he meets me up there later. Not very fun or interesting but we like it

He comes home and takes a shower. We eat dinner then usually go have a couple of cocktails at the neighborhood bar.

we do coursework on the computer a little then we have dinner at the table :D then we watch a film or a bit of TV and then we go to bed and round 40mins later go to sleep ;D
we´ve lived together 3years now and its working great!

Boring!!!

We don't do anything in the week. We just sit and watch the telly al night. Because we're both shattered from work.

Weekends are better.
