before we were married, my parents were sitting with me at the dining table and asked if we were together. i said "no, we are just friends" at the time i thought we were. then, my mom said, in an affectionate, not scolding way,"then you are either lying to us or you are lying to yourself, because it is obvious" i know it sounds dumb, but it hit me like a ton of bricks "oh my gosh! i do love him!" we have been married twelve years so far

My husband is far different from any man I've ever known, both before we met and even since then. It didn't take me long, less than 2 months, to realize what a catch he was/is. He treated me like a queen from the get-go, we got along perfectly, and he seemed to enjoy and want the same things in life as I did. It was just obvious that there was no way I could let this one go. I even remember the night I told him I loved him. I'd gone to San Antonio with my best friend for the weekend and realized while I was gone how much I missed him and how I longed to be near him again. I told him when I got back. Well, I cried for about 10 minutes first because I was scared of saying it, but I finally did. He laughed at my being silly, grabbed my face, and told me he loved me too. Woooo! Time to go call the hubby...

The first time I laid eyes on him I was in love (possibly only lust but it felt like love).....

The absolute moment I knew he was perfect was when I watched him blowing bubbles on the back porch with my daughter.....something so terrific about a man who is good with kids.

Every day he does something that makes the love grow.

When I told him something extremely private and personal, that I was terrified of telling him (or any potential boyfriend), and instead of turning his back on me, which I expected him to do, he said, "That's it? What's the big deal?" He wasn't being insensitive, he was incredibly accepting and sympathetic and knowing it didn't bother him was a huge weight off my shoulders and made me realize how much he really cared about me.

When he looked at me and very truthfully admitted that he had problems trusting woman and that made him distant sometimes but he was working on it because he didn't want it to effect us! I value honesty and he was honest.

When she told me her father was a major share holder with Microsoft and IBM.
