this would take away a starting WR for me, but i also have braylon and wes welker starting. I would have to rely on a weak third option. Jamal lewis probably would not start for my team (Addai and Jones-Drew) but the team i am trading with needs receiver help.

no do not get rid of burress, if you have manning keep him and trade McNabb as Manning averages more points. Jamal Lewis is injury prone and has not perform well but one or two games. Burress is a #1 fantasy option

Manning and Addai combo is not a bad thing. I have Mcnabb and Westbrook and everytime mcnabb throws to westbrook for a TD i get points for both. Last week mcnabb threw 2 td's to westbrook and that pretty much helped me win the game. so the QB and RB combo can be an advantage. I would do the trade because Burress has been a no show the past couple of weeks and i would trade mcnabb for manning all day.

Peyton Manning is a great acquisition, since his poor performance versus San Diego is certainly an anomaly. If you are deep in the receiving department, then trade Burress, but he has notched some sweet stats this season.
The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer just ran a feature profile on how the rushing yards of Lewis have declined as the season enters the second-half, though his role may now be more of a Bettis-styled red zone crusher for TDs, though not many rushing yards.
If you are deep in receivers, make the deal....if Burress is a starter and you are weakening that position...I would hesitate in pulling the trigger on this one.

I would. McNabb is not the same old McNabb, Burress is hurt & getting worse. Manning had a fluke game, but is still a solid #1 QB, and Lewis has found some running room here lately. Just be careful toward the end of the season, when clinching teams rest starters.

Yes. There is no problem starting two colts now you will rack up serious points not only when addai runs the ball, but all of his little dumps from manning will help you 2 fold. The colts offense is going to rely on addai, and manning (it already does) but with harrison, clark, and gonzalez out they will be called to put up some serious numbers.

I would do the trade, you would get Peyton Manning who is a good start except against San Diego... Burress is injured and the Ginats don'rt know when he will be healthy again. Ot would be helpful for your whole roster. Good Luck :)

I would do it, but try to get another back besides Lewis.
Do you have good depth at WR & RB?
Use that throw in to get a decent backup at one of those positions in case one of your main guys gets hurt. Lewis is not all that great a throw in.
