You are seriously misinformed, here on the West coast, games are always scheduled at 10:15, then 1:15, then 5:15 on Sunday. Then Monday night football is at 5:00.

The scheduled starting times are determined by the Eastern Time Zone. The earliest games will start at 1:00 to accomodate the secondary games that begin at 4:00. They need that time slot to allow the night game to be played so that it doesn't end too late.
That's all it is. Its nothing against the West Coast.

Since the majority of NFL teams come from the East Coast, that's where they play. Their 1:00 start time , is the West Coast's 10:00 start time. Therefore, most games start at 10;00 am.

You should be thankful.
I'm on the East Coast and I have to be up past midnight if I want to watch the Sunday or Monday night games.
You've got football ALL DAY!!!
Same goes for all the other sports.

hey, i love games to come on early, that way they are over early enough to see all the action and not be tired at work the next day! obviously you haven't ever lived back east and had to watch monday night football come on at 830pm! the game is finally over usually after midnight! on the west coast its still early. don't complain about early games, trust me its a blessing!

Cause you're on Pacific time. Pacific time sucks. All of the west coast sucks. Tree-hugging liberals who love to elect Republican actors as governors.
...I must be the only one that finds that funny.

I'm guessing TV coverage has a lot to do with the timing of the games.
