I think and have thought from the beginning ARod was going to stay in NY. There are no teams able to pay what he wants. I think NY sign him to an 8yr/230Mil contract!

Yea it's true, A Rod wants to talk with the Yankees, without Scott Boras, he wants to stay a Yankee. He is upset about how his image looked after he opted out of his contract, and realized he wasn't going to make what he expected, so he is willing to talk with the Yankees at a reduced rate from what he was making, because he told the Yankees he would agree to eat the amount of money the Rangers were paying the Yankees.

He's right the Yankees are reporting that Alex contacted them about coming back to the Yanks. The Yankees have stated they will not deal with Boras present in the room. The Yankees offer is reported to be 275 million over 10 years.

It's only been 3 weeks!!

Give it some time. Just because there isnt much buzz about teams making an offer right now, that doesnt mean that they arent interested and that they wont make an offer.

Any serious offers wont come until after the New Year.
