If a man complains, feminists are quick to point it out to him, but if a feminist complains, ''it's a valid question that deserves a worthy answer.''

Why is this?

Our society is designed by idiots for idiots. If you expect anyone to be able to stand up for themselves with logic and reasoning instead of just whining then you are in the wrong. This especially applies when it's a man expecting it of a woman.

You're supposed to go hold her hand and make her feel happy, now get to it!

(disclaimer: This applies only to the majority of all people in the western society)

When a feminist complains she is called a man hater, her opinion is trashed and she is told to shut up and get out more. I have stopped having feminist discussions on this forum because of all the people who trash feminist ideals.

I'm sorry if your complaints are ignored, they should be taken seriously and treated with respect.

I don't think feminist questions are treated as valid or worthy on here, sorry.

if a feminist complains, anti-feminists are quick to point it out (or go "waaaaaa" and ask why isn't she independent & strong enough to deal with it on her own)...

of course someone who is doing the complaining will think that their complaint is a valid question... even the man complaining would say that as well. so where exactly is the double standard?

Your avatar is badass (edit: oh, you've just changed it!).

Anyway, I too have noticed this. How often are men referred to as "whiners" in this section? It serves to perpetuate the idea that men must take everything on the chin. Of course, women are allowed to be victims, we must treat all of their problems with all the compassion we can muster. Feminists never seem to challenge this gender distinction - that men have to deal with their own problems without so much as a peep, whilst women can freely raise their concerns and can expect to be afforded special protection for them. I wonder why that is...

Validity is given by the reader themselves. And they will validate it by giving a response. Everyone does it, so do you. Unless you never do it, then that would be hypocritical of you, because as I've said, EVERYONE does it. No matter what the topic or Gender is.

Let's stop the hypocrisy over flow.

It's nice to be some place the double standard works FOR me.
You don't think pointing out that you're complaining is a worthy answer? Are you sure you had a valid question?

We all know the answer to this question. Because most of those who call themselves feminists (using the term loosely) are trolls and hypocrites.

Men don't even have to "complain", all they have to do is post a valid question about the inequality that men face, and either the feminists mitigate it, get somewhat aggressive, or claim that the post is a troll.

Actually these women only pretend to be feminist. A true feminist, one that truely supports equality would not behave in this way.

That's kind of a broad generalization. Please take the time to scroll down through the pages of questions and then re-assess. Seems to me, men are doing 90% of the "complaining." Perhaps if this forum were not inundated by 90% trollish questions, women here would not be quite as sensitive to the questions that involve complaints against women. You'd have to be blind not to see that this forum is continually flooded by negativism toward women. It does tend to make some of us a little bit "hypersensitive." (The rest of us perhaps become the opposite: de-sensitized.)
