If you're serious, come up with a "humane" method.
If you're not serious, at least be creative.

I think the death penalty should only be employed if there is incontrovertible evidence, such as DNA, because I hate to think of an innocent person being killed. That being said, though, no way is cruel enough for serial rape/torture murderers and child molesters. I think you should be set on fire, then extinguished, allowed to heal for a couple days, then set on fire again, and so on for a few weeks. Then finally set on fire until it kills you. Although truthfully, I'd feel guilty being the one to do it. Unless it were my loved one that was a victim.

Death unnatural is not humane no matter what method is conceived. How can it be humane for a convicted person to sit on death row for years waiting for his/her final day. If anything about a death penalty should be revised it is the reduction of the appeal system. A convicted person should be limited to 1 appeal within 12 months of their conviction. Upon the decision, the person is released or put to death by whatever means is determined by the state or federal government.

I Am serious...public hanging.

Who said executing convicted murderers and the like had to be humane ?

How about a "humane" bullet to the back of the head of a child molester ? Works for me !

I've always wondered why criminals that receive the death penalty didn't receive the same punishment they inflicted upon the victim. So if they shot someone 12 times they should be shot 12 times, if they stabbed someone 100 times they should receive the same etc...seems like it would just be very fitting.

Place on death row for no more than two years. Two years is only to allow for two expedited appeals. After the two years or two (failed) appeals, execute with a point blank gunshot to the head with a 30 cal. + weapon.

Then make the family pay for the bullet

......Seriously

The prison warder collects the deathrow inmate from his cell at 6.00am and walks him to the courtyard where he is to face the gallows.
As they step outside the rain starts to fall.
The warder says to the inmate "That's a shame - I'm meant to be playing golf this afternoon".

honestly? Lets start saving some money, A bullet to the brain is quick and painless, and even cheap.

There's even been a few where I would gladly donate the bullet.

Its funny...I never believed in the death penalty until I had children. ANYBODY who hurts a child is worthy of the worst agony of a slow painful death. I say torture and kill.

i think we should allow death row prisoners to have pets,.....a hungry lion, locked in the cell of the prisoner,.....the pit of rattlesnakes, the condemned can be lowered into the pit,.....and left with the snakes,.....we could also bury the prisoner, up to his neck, and then come at him with a large mower, and just go around his head, a few times, and then just go for it,.....

I think everyone should die peacefully in their sleep if possible. Lethal injection is good but only after you knock them out with sleeping gas. No one should endure the pain or agony of suffering through death if they can choose to.
