Any photo booth that says passport approved photos (Post Office, supermarkets, Woolworths etc)... you may find a photo shop in your town useful (i.e. Supersnaps etc.) as they often have a person with a digital camera to take the photo for you. Passport photos are particular with their standards so it may be worth your while reading the leaflet carefully.

You can get your photo taken in quite a few places but there are regulations for a passport photo. Your Photographs Must Be: Identical In color 2 x 2 inches in size Taken within the past 6 months, showing current appearance Full face, front view with a plain white or off-white background Between 1 inch and 1 3/8 inches from the bottom of the chin to the top of the head Taken in normal street attire: Uniforms should not be worn in photographs except religious attire that is worn daily Do not wear a hat or headgear that obscures the hair or hairline If you normally wear prescription glasses, a hearing device, wig or similar articles, they should be worn for your picture Dark glasses or nonprescription glasses with tinted lenses are not acceptable unless you need them for medical reasons (a medical certificate may be required) Notes: Vending machine photos are not generally acceptable

The post office is the best place, since you will be able to get any answers if you have questions on the application process. Driver's license photos are taken at a state license bureau at the time of successfully qualifying for an initial license or license renewal.

I got mine at the travel agency just this summer. They already know the exact size and specs, so you won't have any difficulty or problems. Cost is minimal - $15.00 American currency.

You can go to copyworks or take one at home. Make sure its just the head and shoulders and the background is pure white.

You can get one for free just go out and smash a few shop windows then when you get nicked and they take your picture ask them for a copy.Job Done.
