Here are just a few reasons why I hate the Dallas Cowboys:
--If they go undefeated in the preseason they think they are Super Bowl bound
--The fans are obnoxious
-- Jerry Jones was an idiot on the way he fired Tom Landry
--Emmett Smith always got injured when the Cowboys were getting their butts waxed
--Back in the mid-80’s they complained that they lost a game due to wearing long johns,,,lol
--Cowboy fans always get on the Houston bandwagon when they are not having a good season
--Michael Irvin was a big cheater by pushing off defenders to catch 99% of his passes

I don't, but I understand why others do...
The Cowboys have had a lot of success, and they were annointed America's Team back in the 70's. This sort of crossed the boundaries of rooting for the local team and doesn't sit well with fans of other teams. The situation is further exacerbated by the fact that the Cowboys have lived up to the name. They've been successful and classy and consistently bring in the the highest TV ratings.
(Of course, every team has their problems, and the Cowboys are no different except that the spotlight burns brighter in Big D, so their troubles are magnified by the media.)

Anthony C. and some of these other pompous Cowboy fans are the PERFECT example of why SOOOOO many peopele hate Dallas. In addition to being bandwagoners, their fans are just flat.......out.......A-R-R-O-G-A-N-T!!!!!!! Whether they have any reason to be or not!

I hate the Cowboys because they have always been such a show-off team.....like the way players act when they score and stuff. Plus, the fans too....are obnoxious and many of them do jump on the bandwagon when they are doing well. I notice this more with the cowboys than any other team. Ughh can't stand them!! The fans don't have the same loyalty & dedication as some of the fans of the older teams that have been around forever!
Packer fan all my life!!!!

You kidding me? Everybody has their team and their dislikes! But, as a lifelong Cowboy fan, I only thought we were going to win the superbowl when the final whistle blew. Im not obnoxious either. Jerry Jones is an idiot but he happens to be the owner of one of the greatest NFL teams of all time. Emmitt Smithe broke his collarbone in the 1st half trailing the Giants and came in 2nd half and ran for 150 and 2TDs for us to win. It's tough to play in long johns! I have never been on Texans bandwagon but, I do hope they do well. And, Michael Irvin was not a cheater...he was a crack-head!! Go Cowboys!

I used to be a Dallas Cowboys fan but since Jerry Jones took over the team I changed my views. Tom Landry was in my opinion one of the classiest coaches in the NFL of all time.
I prefer to cheer for another team.
Still hate the Steelers and 49ers for obvious reasons.

It's the principle of the thing! I'm a die-hard Redskins fan, so you know, it kinda comes with the territory. Besides, half my family are Cowgirl fans and the rest are Redskin fans. Which come Sunday, it'll be interesting to see who turns that nasty shade of puce first!!
Anyways, it's always been fun to knock on the Cowgirl fans, and yeah, I get just as much crap from them when my team isn't having a great season, but if it's done in the spirit of things, I have no problem with it. I just don't like those fans who can talk a lot of smack but can't take any back!! Those are the ones who really get me mad!!

Sounds like pure jealousy , pure jealousy.
I have been a Cowboy fan since Don Meredith was the QB. Change the names and the reasons you listed above could fit for any team.
Though I do agree on the firing of T Landry that way.. Tom was the man.

Coach Landry was coach for the team for over 27 years.... dont you think that that is enough for most people?
I can't stand Jerry Jones but I respect the team in their quest for excellence. I dont like Romo!!!
They're doing a little better in the teamwork dept this season, lets see how it pans out. And lets see how Wade Phillips handles things......
They'll never be as great as when Roger Staubach was playing!! Aikman wa pretty good tho.....
