The Yankees offered Rivera a 3yr 45mil offer and Rivera is still thinking about it? What the h*ll is there to think about? 15 Mill a year for a guy that is getting beyond his prime and pitches maybe 1 inning every 3 games? He needs to go sign that contract before they realize what they are doing! Dont get me wrong Mo has been great in pinstripes but I dont think he is worth 45mill for 3 years!!

He is reviewong the deal with his agent and mulling over whether he wants to return to the Girardi led team or moveon to the Torre led Dodgers only really two competitors here, if he is looking for the most money then it is right in front of him.

Its al right, he'll accept it, it's just he's trying to see if the Yankees Organization bites, and offers more money. All players do it. My guess is Cashman will bite and give him 50 million over 4 years.

I think he's holding out for 4 years. Since Posada got the 4 years he wanted, Mariano probably believes he can squeeze 4 out of them as well.

He will be paid 4 Mill more per year than any other RP. He should sign anyday now. Don't fault someone for thinking about a big decision. There is probably a lot of language in the contract he and his agent and lawyers are going over.
