yes, your betta will be absolutel fine for 2 days without food
I always fast all my fish one whole day outa the week to prevent constipation
Please DON'T these feeder blocks, they will only pollute your tank and eventually kill your fish
Hope that helps
Good luck

1 betta (siamese fighting fish), nothing else. And you need to do frequent water changes with properly conditioned water. They can make due without filtration since they can breath air from the top, but pretty much all other fish need filter for aeration, and most need heater water as well since most aquarium fish are tropical. Goldfish are cold water fish, but also need about 40 gallons each since they are a messy fish and grow large. The 1" per gallon is a lie (like saying you can then keep a 10" fish in a 10 gallon tank...which are about 12" long, so it couldn't turn around) Some fish need more space than others, some are fatter/skinnier and would take up more/less volume so you can't judge by length.

I would not advice you to use the weekend tablet since it just fouls the fish's water. Just put a little more food than you feed your betta amd it should be fine.

I had a betta fish at my job for years, and I rarely ever feed him on the weekends. I always made sure I fed him Friday before I left. He is still alive today!

He'll be ok over the weekend without food. Those tablets are horrible for the water. Does he have a filter and heater? I want a fish at work!

No,no wk/end tab.He will be fine(maybe just give him an extra wee feed b4 u leave him.
Because they are prone to obesity(due to lack of movement in a small space)This will result in swim bladder..it does them good to miss a feed here&there.Tey're tough, resiliant little guys.
You should see the state of the rice paddy/puddles that they originate from in Asia.

if the fish is well-feed most of the time, it will survive 2 days of no food, if it already had little food, then yea, the chances are higher.

I often miss up to two days and he seems fine. I allways believe it's better to under feed than over feed.

It will survive but don't you feel bad that it'll be starving? Imagine you didn't eat during a weekend, nothing will happen to you either.
