Do you think escort services are REAL jobs? Do you think it is a respectable career? How do you think somebody with low self esteem could grow in that buisness?

Just questions I am wondering, nothing personal :)

If sex is exchanged, then it is illegal in the US except in Nevada. Well, sex sales and there is a lot of money in it. I say it is real job and I don't it is respectable per say.

I like to think of it like this, lets say we have two twins who are both equally and quite attractive. Twin A wants to be an electrical engineer, whereas Twin B wants to be an escort. Twin A might in the end make more, but Twin B can make a very good living and possibly more. Now, which job is easier or requires the less training designing an electrical system or just going out to dinners, clubs, and hotel rooms pulling tricks. Twin A could if she wanted to be an escort, but can Twin B do Twin A's job?

If women really want to advance themselves as workers or mothers, then they should be against prostitution as a career for any girl. What if something happened to where they couldn't be escorts anymore like STD's, disfigurement,... what skills do they have to fall back on to other than their literally falling on their backs? Legal or not it still invites crime and could put the girl in danger... or guy.

I've often thought of being a male escort. I spose if there's no sex involved and we're just bringing some delight to someone who's got the money to spend then why not. Now you're making me think- nice meals in fancy restaurents with cultured and gentile people. Sounds like a dream. I might do that after University...... Oh, and fast cars.

Hi, Everyone is independent to choose their career. Escorts are also human beings and they came in this profession with their choice and they are paid high for offering their services. A normal escort charge about 100$/hour and clients pay this amount happily for hiring an escort. They are sweet, smart, Friendly and you will feel comfortable with them.

its takes a head strong person.....and one that is willing to spread their legs for money....more than not it is a ''legal'' way of prostitution if the price is right....and that is about all that is on the persons mind that pays for an escort.....ever wonder about the next word ''SERVICES''? This is what it will ends as....services to whoever pays...and no a low self esteem is not for this job...

They are REAL prostitutes. Not respectable in the traditional sense of the word, and I would venture to say that a large portion of the people working as escorts have low self esteem.

I think it could be respectable if there is no sexual favors involved, and just escorting to and from places, people have to make there living some how and if you look good enough to make it in that business hey why not.

Some service organsations are reputable but for a lot they are what the top reply says as a term for prostitution.

I think it is def NOT a respectable carreer. I think it's the kind of job a woman takes who has been sexually molested as a child or who has other very serious mental health issues that need work.
