I am considerting to put my profile in a Russian marriage agency, but the women look to good to be true and sometimes I think they are not real and the agency is only interested in men's money.

It depends on which one you use. Going through an agency is better than some of the other ways. You do have to be careful. I joined a few pen pal sites on the Internet after I got divorced and I got a TON of email from Russian women wanting to get married. But it was easy to see that they were just trying to scam me into sending them money. But a good agency could work well. Because........in Russia not many people can afford a computer. But the women can afford to join an agency because it's the men that join that pay for everything. I did join a Russian Agency just to find out for myself. I did end up writing to a few women and they were very sincere. But at the time it was just to soon for me. The thing you have to understand is you have to have a LOT of money because if you do find someone you like you will want to visit them a few times. Russian women don't have a lot of money. They want to find decent men as well and feel the only way to do it is to join an agency. But.....if you are older , in your 40s for example......don't fall for the women in their 20s. I have to say......I have never seen an unattractive Russian woman on any site I have been on. And women of all ages will be writing to you. But use common sense.....some just want a American man to pay their way over. After 5 years or so they leave him and by that time they are in the USA for good.

well i guess they are all scammish to some extend, depends how you see it...but you have to be ready to deal with money issues anyway, pay for something.. no address of a particular agency that i can recommend to be more or less ok, just a little tip, pay attention on what they offer - those who invite you to visit the country and meet the woman in russia are definitely being more reliable than those that don't have this option..

I know two people who had good luck on the second attempt. The first agency flaked in both cases.

I am very suspicious with long distance agencies that are willing to take your money and do work for you.
I would be very careful.

Just meet women the old fashioned way. You don't need to go through that crap.
Join singles clubs, book clubs, a church, or something.
Hell talk to women at the supermarket or library. Don't waste your money on a mail ordered bride!
