Do U remember your first day of school?

Yes. I stood at the open door that went to the street and tried to decide whether to tell the kindergarten teacher that I was going home (she looked busy) or whether I should just walk out the door.

I remember about 3 or 4 instances when I was in kindergarten, not the first day.

you mean kindergarten? well i do. i lived in the bronx at the time (it was a good neighborhood) and my mom didnt have a drivers licence (yet) and we took the bus and i put the 50 cents in the thingy and we went to the back of the bus and we got bymy school ad walked the rest and then i met my teacher and stuff and i was a little nervous but i didnt cry or anything.

firstday of highschool was freakin scary. it was hard findin a seat on the bus, the people in school are tall as hell. theres people like over 6 feet tall. and i was affraid of getting lost and i didnt know how to get out of the school. lol. it was really weird. and all my classes are spread far appart. especially spanish.

Believe it or not, I do remember my first day of school back in 1969...really.
Back then school didn't start back until September.
It was cold and mom took me in our old station wagon.
I still remember being so homesick with a lump in my throat all day.
I still remember my teacher, Miss Denton. (I pray that she continued loving children as much as she loved us.)
Mr. Faulkenberry was my principal.
Gosh...I still remember the bread/rolls the lunch room would serve. They were sooo good.

I remember my first day of 6th grade because I got on the wrong bus and got home like 2 hours late, my mom thought I ran away.

It was back in 1988 but I remember obsessively laying out my backpack and crayons and pencils and paper and clothes for the next day and being very excited, but then dragging my feet and screaming dramatically "It's the beginning of the end!"

hehe I was a dramam queen even back then :-P

First day of kindergarten my parents were away on vacation and my grandma took me. I was scared, but couldn't believe all the kids that were crying! I was so disappointed that first day because no one let me read anything. I sat next to a little girl named Grace, because she was so miserable and I tried to make her feel less sad.

YES i was scared my mom woke me gave me a bath and put on Barney while I got dressed I went to preschool and cried I didn't want to leave my mom but I got over it and I had fun and watched other kids cry for there mom to it was so fun we brushed our teeth went on the play ground played house and played with blocks and dinosaurs and also painted I miss the old days :( I still remember my first teachers names Teacher Carmen and teacher Caroline they were cool teachers they came over and dropped me off gifts on Christmas and we also got to get to know other kids and there families on switch a culture day we got a Caucasian family to spend a day over our house with there daughter which was my class mate those days were fun I miss my teachers I heard they were sick and they stopped teaching there right after my sisters year there I'm glad my sis got to experience them before they got sick :)
