Does anyone know a homeopathic remedy for worry. I worry about anything going wrong, whether it's in my relationship with my boyfriend or going for an interview. I don't like to upset people and worry constantly if I think I have. I've been told about Arsenicum (ARS 30) but I'm not sure that's the right remedy. Please help!

The first part of remedying your sleeplessness is to reduce your worry. Ask yourself this simple question; "Can I fix this problem tonight?" The answer will probably be "no." And since you can't fix it in the next 8 hours, agree with yourself to take up the task of resolving the problem the next day. Now you have given yourself permission to release the stress for the duration of your sleep time. You might have this chat with yourself while sipping a nice cup of tea with chamomile & peppermint in it. The chamomile will relax you, and the peppermint will help reduce the muscle tension. Also, while you're enjoying your quiet moment with a cup of tea, concentrate on finding something positive that happened in the course of your day. This will leave you with a pleasant thought to concentrate on as you drift off to sleep. If you combine these 3 elements (time with a cup of soothing tea, giving yourself permission to resume the worry after 8 hours of sleep & holding a pleasant thought at the end of your day), you will essentially have spent some meditation time. This is good for your breathing, your muscles, your mind & your well-being. Lastly, as you lie in a comfortable position in your bed, think of a gentle water flowing over your body, through your body. Let it wash from the top of your head downward and relax all of your muscles as it goes.

Don't ever take the sleeping pills route!!

1. They will damage your liver big time and you can get into serious health problems.

2. You will get hooked up on them and you won't be able to have a normal life any more if you don't take your pills everyday.

The sleeping pills industry is damaging our health by capitalizing on our ignorance, and by distracting people from effective and natural ways to deal with this problem. I had been taking prescription sleep medications [Ambien] for over 5 years. It stopped working and I simply took more. Still did not work. Nights were very difficult - medication put me to sleep but I would wake up after 2–3 hours with a strong sympathetic response (fast pulse, pounding heartbeat, wide awake alert). It was a very difficult cycle to break. I was really in bad shape due to lack of sleep.

After years of struggling I was able to cure my insomnia naturally and pretty fast. I followed the Sleep Tracks sleep optimization program, here is their official web -site if you want to take a look: http://www.insomniacure.net

Ohhh..and Good Luck!

You soound like I did. I would worry over the stupidest things....if my kids are doing OK in school, if this, if that.

After many years of being treated like a guinea pig I went to a natural doctor and she told me my adrenal was all out of wack....of course she did testing and she put me on st. john's wort as I do have some depressive issues, adrenal support, peppermint (for my upset stomach) and schizandra which dont quote me but I think its for nerves...

But anyway after over 10 years of the guinea pig and 4 months on supplements I just wish I would have done this many years earlier but at least now I am doing better then I have ever been..

The supplements are also cheaper but be careful about buying the ones in department stores. She told me that most of the Omega 3 in department stores our body can't digest as well as many vitamins and other supplements.

You can try Calms Forte produced by Hylands who also make Nerve Tonic, if you want to try that.

There is always Valeriana or chamomile.

I find all of these effective, and of course safe!
