Depends on what you are selling. Summer clothers and swim toys won't sell well this time of year. If you have Christmas or fall themed items, sweaters or coats in good condition, those will probably sell. Yard sales do best when the weather is pleasant enough to be outside. If it is a bit cool, let the kids sell hot chocolate and/or coffee. Most of your sales will happen in the first 2-3 hours. Be prepared to start early and have everything pre-labeled. Have enough small bills and change to make change. Good luck.

A yard sale in Georgia shouldn't you have it in like July or May November could be the time as long as it is on the weekend and it is not snowing.

Since Georgia has had a drought this year, I doubt that you are worried about getting rained out!

As long as it is not too cold, why would the time of year matter?

Well isnt Georgia still warm? I live in CT and had a yard sale two weekends ago when it was really cold and we still profited about 200 buckaroos!

I am in Missouri and it is too late in the year, here, to have a good one, everybody is pretty much rummage sale-ed out. Spring is the best time for here because everybody is anxious and ready for them. Don't know about your area, spend a weekend going to them and see how everybody else's sales are going, and check the newspaper to see how many there are.

It's getting a little late for the Kansas City area. Weather this time of year is so "iffy!" It could be in the 70's or in the low 30's (farenheit), clear and sunny, or snowy and blowy!
