I had extremely bad cramps all through adolescence. So bad, in fact, that I'd pass out and throw up and my fingernails would turn blue. Awful.
I just had a baby. There is no comparison. Labor, even at 5 centimeters, is heinous. It's a different kind of pain. But it's pain multiplied by 100.

Well, contractions during delivery are like period cramping but about 100 times maginified. When the baby comes out it's like having the largest bowel movement that you can imagine. but when that cute baby somes out, it's all worth it!!
The above info is without epidural, of course you don't feel a thing w/ anesthesia.

Having a baby is like having 9 months of missed periods all rolled into 18 hours!

def the baby would hurt worse...think about it with a baby you r pushing a living thing out of you and it's moving around kicking as it comes out while you get cramps alot when you have your period so you get used to the pain plus perod cramps is not like pushing out a baby.

The baby for sure!!! With my first child I went into labor on Monday and he was born on a Friday!!!! No kidding! Back in the 70's they even let you lay there that long in the hosptial. Of course it wasn't continous pain, but It was painful never the less.

That's hard to answer . . . I've had both.
I guess having a baby is more painful. It's just that cramps come back every month, and the baby only happens once (if you don't EVER let it happen again . . .!)
