Ok, so my parents want to get a new computer for me, and i've agreed to help pay it off.
Now i want to avoid expensive computers if ican. (I live in Australia, South from Sydney and often go to the computer fair to see new PC's)
What kind of computer should i get if the main programs/items i'll have on it will be;
Photoshop CS 2/3
Anti-spyware and anti-virus
Adobe suite CS2
messenger
Internet/Firefox
Corel Painter 9
Ragnarok or other MMORPG
And my tablet installers....
Most of the time, all of the programs mentioned above are running at once.
I draw a lot too, and prefer big screens to get good detail...can anybody help me out? Just looking for advice.

First you want to go at least Dual Core. But the Core 2 Dual 6000 (which Quad core 4 cores) is actually pretty good value). At least if you are building a computer.
But a Core 2 Dual with 2.66 GHZ
I would get at least 3 GB or RAM.
Get a Front Side Bus at least 800 mhz, but try for the 1066.
Then SATA Drives, maybe like 2 250? or maybe you don't need that much.
And a good size monitor at least 22 inches (maybe they do centimeters down there).

Since you use a lot of programs at once, you should get a pc with a dual core processor, at least 1GB ram(1024), and a good video card (256 or 512 MB video ram).
