People generally choose minors based on whatever is the least amount of work. For the atmo. science program I am in, most people get a minor in Math because it requires just taking one additional course.

Personally, I am also getting a minor in geophysics because I hope to continue my studies in planetary research.

The question for you is, what do you want to do with your degree in atmospheric sciences?
If you want to model weather or climate change, computer science would be a good choice.
If you want to work in a laboratory, you may want to try chemistry.
For planetary research, go with geology or geophysics.

It really is up to you. Find out your interests, then talk to a career or academic advisor about what jobs are in that area and what sort of knowledge you will need.

Since I have two geology degrees that would be my answer, but also look into oceanography. The ocean influences atmospheric conditions greatly.

Earth science would be good start. Do you want to be a weatherman on TV/Radio? Then I would also look into theater/drama.
